Creating a coloured pencil portrait is a very individual process and a fully personalised experience.

Over time I developed my own style that reflects in my work and techniques I use to create a coloured pencil piece.
I try to capture the uniqueness and character of a pet or equine in realistic but stylised way.

I work from good quality, clear digital photos to make sure my drawings include as much detail as possible.
I understand some of the portraits might be a memorial pieces,

so please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions regarding reference photos that might be a bit less than clear and I will try to assist.
Where possible I can advise on how to take a good reference picture or, if local, visit to take one myself.

All of my portraits are created with artist quality coloured pencils on archival, acid free paper or drafting film, depending on the subject.
You can choose to be regularly updated on the progress or opt for a surprise upon receiving the completed piece.

25% of the value of the portrait is required to secure the booking (booking fee - refundable only if the portrait cannot be completed with the fault on my behalf, for any other reason, refund is at my discretion).
The remaining balance is paid only when you are happy with the completed piece and before posting.

Prices include UK P&P (tracked and signed for).

Prices are based on one subject, no background, sizes are based on paper size and the portrait will be a good size within the paper area.
